Ever since moving to Rotterdam, I watched the Ferro Dome sit abandoned, through summer and winter, through rain and sun, and the only thing I could think of, is "what a waste". At the same time, the world was debating the value and legitimacy of exotic dancers and sex workers, and I realised how many misconceptions are about these hard working people, and how many of them come from the idea of it being a dirty career. My concept is based on breaking the misconception behind exotic dancing and the places it usually happens into, by breathing a new life into the Ferro Dome, through a hard and industrial style, to show that they are, also, a legitimate industry, through an adult playground.

I really enjoyed the concept of a wrap-around bar with an elevated stage, creating this barrier between the performer and the audience.

While the platform created a complete view of the stage, the bar, and part of the ground floor, I liked the elevation, especially for a space as tall as the Ferro Dome.
